A Week in Reading | July 8-14

Books Read Last Week

This past week I finished two books, one of which was absolutely fantastic! Everyone should read The Kiss Quotient by Helen Hoang! It was so good!

The Fates Divide (Carve the Mark, #2) by Veronica Roth ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Currently Reading

I’m currently listening to The Dead Will Tell (Kate Burkholder, #6) by Linda Castillo on audiobook. It’s really good! I should be done with it on Monday. I’m also reading The Phantom Tree by Nicola Cornick. I just started this book, but I’ve heard great things about it.

Next Book

I plan to read The Simple Wild by K. A. Tucker next, which is another ARC I received from NetGalley. I have several ARCs I need to read, so I plan on blasting through some of them the end of July and August.

  1. I just finished reading Doctor Sleep by Stephen King in preparation for the upcoming movie. Awesome book. Really hoping they do not screw it up like they did The Shining.

Next book is a New Author Book called Behind the Door. Cannot wait to read!

      1. Ooo such a difficult question. I’m a huge King fan. I started with The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon, so it will be always close to my heart. Also loved The Dark Tower series and Rose Madder. I haven’t found one I do not like. 💗

  2. I just finished In Other Lands and I’m almost done with Our Year of Maybe (ARC), I’m not sure what I’m going to read next. I’ve heard only great things about The Kiss Quotient and I’m glad to hear you also enjoyed it. I’ll put it on my TBR ❤
