The Ultimate Book Tag

Do You Get Sick While Reading In The Car?
I do! I can’t read in the car. For whatever reason playing on my phone and stuff is fine, but as soon as I try to read a book, I start getting a headache and feeling not so great.

Which Author’s Writing Style Is Completely Unique To You And Why?
Mark Z. Danielewski. Have you read House of Leaves? I have never read such an interesting, unique book before! I loved it.

Harry Potter or Twilight? Give 3 Reasons Why.
Oh, man. Harry Potter, hands down.
1. Hogwarts is the coolest place imaginable.
2. The trio of Harry, Hermione, and Ron is nearly impossible to beat.
3. The books kept me up at night, whereas the Twilight books did not.

Do You Carry A Book Bag? If So, What’s In It (Besides Books)?
I don’t! Usually if I’m traveling, I rely on my Kindle or an audiobook on my phone.

Do You Smell Your Books?
I do like the smell of new books, but I can’t say I’m a regular book-sniffer.

Books With or Without Illustrations?
I definitely enjoy both.

What Book Did You Love While Reading, But Discovered Later It Wasn’t Quality Writing?
The Royals series by Erin Watt. The books are awesomely entertaining, but I can’t say the writing is spectacular.

Do You Have Any Funny Stories Involving Books From Your Childhood?
I was so desperate to read “chapter books” as a child that I would pick up whatever chapter book I could find and read it. Unfortunately, I only knew a handful of the words, so I never really understood the storyline, but I sure made every attempt to read it!

What Is The Thinnest Book On Your Shelf?
Without looking, I would guess Crescendo by Amy Weiss.

What Is the Thickest Book On Your Shelf?
The Complete Collection of Edgar Allan Poe.

Do You Write As Well As Read? Do You See Yourself Being An Author In the Future?
Nope! When I was little I dreamed of being an author, but for now, I think I’ll stick to reading and reviewing books.

When Did You Get Into Reading?
When I learned to read!

What Is Your Favorite Classic Book?
I really enjoyed Pride and Prejudice.

What Was Your Best Subject In School?
English, though I pretty much maintained A’s in all subjects.

If You Were Given A Book As A Present That You Read Before And Hated, What Would You Do?
Thank them, of course! If nothing else, it would still have a home on my shelf.

What Is A Lesser Known Series That You Know Of That Is Similar to Harry Potter or the Hunger Games?
Oh gosh, I have no idea!!

What Is A Bad Habit You Always Do (Besides Rambling) While Filming?
Moving around too much. But I don’t do a lot of filming, and I’m not a booktuber, so . . .

What Is Your Favorite Word?
I’ve always liked the word “cozy” and all that it entails.

Are You A Nerd, Dork, or Dweeb?
Probably a nerd, though I’m not one to label myself.

Vampires, or Fairies? Why?
While I think both are pretty darn cool, I’m a big fan of fairies in books. They always seem to elegant and magical.

Shapeshifters, or Angels? Why?
Shapeshifters all the way! I would love to have that ability.

Spirits, or Werewolves? Why?
Werewolves. They’re kind of creepy but very cool.

Zombies, or Vampires? Why?
Vampires. I’ve read quite a few vampire books I’ve enjoyed!

Love Triangles, or Forbidden Love?
Love triangles. I know people think it’s a tired theme, but I just adore a good love triangle!

Full on Romance Books, or Action-Packed With A Few Love Scenes?
I don’t read too many romance novels, so give me action-packed books!

I tag . . .

Whoever wants to be tagged! If you think this tag looked like fun, give it a try!
