Pinterest Recipes (With Book Pairings!) | Week 3

Pinterest 111

I first launched this series in January, and I had a lot of fun with it. I hope you like it too! Books and food just go together. None of these recipes are my own, so please follow the links to the recipes. These bloggers know their food!

Pairing #1:

pinterest3 girl in pieces
Recipe Title: Cheesy Southwestern Chicken Tortilla Soup
Created by: Oh Sweet Basil
Recipe Modifications: I usually make this recipe as is! Keep in mind that this is a very rich and creamy soup. We usually use tortilla scoop chips and eat it like nachos.
Pair With: Girl in Pieces by Kathleen Glasgow
Why?: Much of Girl in Pieces is set in Arizona, so this Southwestern Tex-Mex is the perfect compliment to the book!

Pairing #2:

pinterest2 a court of mist
Recipe Title: Two Timin’ Pasta
Created by: 4 Sons ‘R’ Us
Recipe Modifications: This pasta dish is quick and easy! We like to use hot sausage for an extra kick.
Pair With: A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas
Why?: Will Feyre end up with Tamlin or Rhysand? The pasta title goes well with the angst and romantic dilemmas in A Court of Mist and Fury.

Pairing #3:

pinterest1 cracked kingdom

Recipe Title: Easy Sopapilla Cheesecake
Created by: Sugar Apron
Recipe Modifications: I make this recipe as is!
Pair With: Cracked Kingdom by Erin Watt
Why?: I’ve long associated The Royals series with sweet, fluffy fun, so this series goes perfectly with this delicious Sopapilla Cheesecake. I recently read Cracked Kingdom, the last book in the series and enjoyed it!
