A Week in Reading | May 27 – June 2

Books Read Last Week

I finished three books this past week, even though one was a chore to get through!

The Surface Breaks by Louise O’Neill ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
If I Run (If I Run, #1) by Terri Blackstock ⭐️⭐️⭐️
The Waters & The Wild by DeSales Harrison ⭐️⭐️

Bookish Stats

This past week I read 831 pages. This is a little less than I normally read–as you can see last Saturday I barely read at all. This is in part because the book I was reading was a slog to get through, but also there was a bunch of stuff around the house I was trying to get done.

Currently Reading

I’m currently listening to Seeing Red by Sandra Brown on audiobook. I knew nothing about the book or author going into it, but it sounded interesting, and it was available through my library, so I decided to give it a shot. I’m also reading The Perfect Motheby Aimee Molloy. I’m part of a Facebook bookclub that selected this book for June, so I’m excited to read it.

Next Book

I plan on reading Saving Beck by Courtney Cole next. This is an ARC I received from NetGalley–it sounds fantastic!

  1. The Surface Break’s cover is absolutely goooooorgeous! Lately I have the time to read, but I haven’t been able to devour as many books as you. I wish I had your motivation, getting through 3 books is still awesome!
