April Book Wrap Up

Book & Page Count

Another month down. This year is seriously flying by! April was a fantastic reading month. I was able to read so many great books!

In April I read 13 books and 4,352 pages!

I averaged 334 pages per book in April. I’ve read a lot of shorter books the last two months, but I have several lengthy books in my queue. The longest book I read was La Belle Sauvage (The Book of Dust, #1) by Phillip Pullman at 464 pages, whereas the shortest book I read was The Oracle Queen (Three Dark Crowns, #0.1) by Kendare Blake at 120 pages.

Average Rating

My average rating in April was 4.0, which is very high for me. I read so many fantastic books in April that I loved!

Book Type Breakdown

I had a nice split of book formats this month. 23% of the books I read were audiobooks, and the rest were either physical books or e-books.

Fiction / Non-Fiction Breakdown

I read 2 non-fiction books in April, which puts my non-fiction breakdown at 15% for the month. My goal for the year is 25%, so I still have some catching up I need to do.

ARC / Non-ARC Breakdown

Since I did a blitz of ARC reads in March, I only read 3 ARCs in April.

  1. Impressive, and it mostly looks like you had a good reading month! I really like your charts, I may have to borrow that idea for my May recap; I love data and cannot believe I didn’t think of it before!
