A week in reading – March 25-31

What did I finish reading this past week? I had another great week of reading this week and managed to finish three NetGalley ARCs.

The Trauma Cleaner by Sarah Krasnostein ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
All the Names They Used for God by Anjali Sachdeva ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Everything Happens for a Reason by Kate Bowler ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

What am I currently reading? I’m currently listening to First They Killed My Father by Loung Ung on audiobook, an emotional memoir about one woman’s childhood during the Cambodian civil war. Again, this is an intense book, but I’m still enjoying it. It’s always hard knowing that people can do such atrocious things to other people. I’m also reading The Book of Dust by Philip Pullman as part of a buddy-read.

What do I plan on reading next? My TBR is a mile long right now, but I think I’m going to read The Wicked Deep by Shea Ernshaw next now that I’ve caught up on ARCs.

  1. The Trauma Cleaner by Sarah Krasnostein sounds very interesting. I have read and have one of Caitlin Doughty, she used to work in a morgue and now a youtube channel and is a Mortician. If you want to read more about more along those lines, her books are great.

  2. Oh wow, Congrats to have gotten alot finished !

I didn’t finished any yet.. however im reading 3 in the same time xp one publish on the 9th of this month, which author would like the review on that day, annd another is due at the library on the 14th … .-. welp. Im halfway within the first one so, MAYBE I can achieve both deadlines !! hopefully !! The third one has passed already but .. eh, NetGalley arc of an already published book in another language so don’t feel as rushed as the other two.
