Reading Challenges – March Update

This year I have taken on three different challenges, which I laid out in a post in December. To keep myself on track, I’m going to do a monthly update on where I’m at with each of my goals.

My goals:

  1. Read 75 books (Goodreads challenge)
  2. Read at least 25% non-fiction books
  3. Complete the 2018 AtoZ Reading Challenge

Goal #1: Read 75 books (Goodreads challenge)

I’m way ahead of schedule so far this year, though as I’ve said the last couple months, once I start throwing in some Outlander books, this will taper off a bit. As of writing this post, I’ve read 24 books, which puts me 9 books ahead of schedule. I’m 32% complete with my challenge of 75 books. I’m thrilled with where I’m at right now!

Goal #2: Read at least 25% non-fiction books

I’m a little behind on this goal. Year to date, I’ve only read 2 non-fiction book (8%). I have several memoirs and non-fiction books queued up, so this goal should still be easily accomplished.

Goal #3: Complete the 2018 AtoZ Reading Challenge

As a reminder, the goal of this fun challenge is read one book from every letter of the alphabet. Check out my original post on this challenge here. It’s not too late to join in on the fun!

I’ve knocked an additional three letters off this past month, though I still have a long way to go!

  1. I’m ahead on my reading challenge for the year too! I hear ya, when I continue with the Outlander series.. it will slow me down! That A to Z challenge looks awesome! I wonder how many I have… 🙂

  2. OOOh this is cool! I’m struggling with some of the obscure letters in the A to Z challenge, but I’m around 20 books ahead on my reading goal which is very cool!
