Reading Challenges – February Update

This year I have taken on three different challenges, which I laid out in a post in December. To keep myself on track, I’m going to do a monthly update on where I’m at with each of my goals.

My goals:

  1. Read 75 books (Goodreads challenge)
  2. Read at least 25% non-fiction books
  3. Complete the 2018 AtoZ Reading Challenge

Goal #1: Read 75 books (Goodreads challenge)

I’m exceeding this goal as of right now, but once I start throwing in some Outlander books, this will taper off a bit. As of writing this post, I’ve read 16 books, which puts me 6 books ahead of schedule. I’m 21% complete with my challenge of 75 books. I’m happy with where I’m at right now!

Goal #2: Read at least 25% non-fiction books

I’m still failing at this goal currently. Year to date, I’ve only read 1 non-fiction book (6%). I plan to ramp that up moving forward though and will hopefully be at 25% before the end of the year.

Goal #3: Complete the 2018 AtoZ Reading Challenge

As a reminder, this goal of this fun challenge is read one book from every letter of the alphabet. Check out my original post on this challenge here. It’s not too late to join in on the fun!

  1. I only set a goodreads reading goal for myself, because I am in my graduation year and sadly don’t have that much time to read. My goal is also quit low, but I am on schedule right now. I have read 4/30 books, which is kinda pathetic next to your goal. 😂

  2. Congrats on doing so well with all your reading challenges!! I’m thankfully ahead of my Goodreads goal for now, but like you I have some longer books on my TBR that I know will slow down my progress. And I’m on pace with Roof Beam Reader’s TBR Pile Challenge, so can’t really complain 🙂 Best of luck keeping up the good work!
