January Book Wrap Up

Book & Page Count

Is January really over? Where, oh where, did the time go? I feel like January was a great month in reading. I read more than I thought I would, especially considering I didn’t finish any audiobooks in January.

In January I read 10 books and 3,513 pages!

The books I read this month weren’t particularly lengthy. I do tend to gravitate toward longer books, but I read a couple of shorter books this month. The longest book I read was And I Darken by Kiersten White at 475 pages and the shortest book I read was Cauldron’s Bubble by Amber Elby at 171 pages.

Average Rating

My average rating January was 3.9, which is practically unheard of. I’m not sure I’ve ever read so many 4 and 5 star books in a month! I am trying to be pickier about the books I read, only choosing those I think I’ll really, really enjoy. Clearly, that seems to be working!

Other Bookish Stats

I only read 1 nonfiction book this month, which puts my non-fiction breakdown at 10%. Usually I aim for 25%, but obviously the year is young.

Additionally, 40% of the books I read were ARCs, and 0% were audiobooks.

  1. 3.9 star-average! I aspire to have a reading month that good. XD I only read a whooping 6 books in January, but I’m surprisingly fine with that, considering the fact that I just got out of a huge burn-out! My favorites in January were To Kill a Kingdom (bc hot pirates) and Warcross (bc Marie Lu is a world-building goddess). ❤
