2018 Reading Goals

My reading goals for 2018 are pretty simple. I have a lot going on at home with two kids and a full-time job, so I don’t want to stress myself out. Simple is good.

Here are my goals:

  1. Read 75 books (Goodreads challenge). I had the goal of reading 50 books in 2017 and more than doubled my goal, so I think 75 books is a good number to aim for. I regularly read long books, so I don’t want to stress myself out by setting a goal any higher.
  2. Read at least 25% non-fiction books. I set this goal for myself every year. Of the books I read for the year, I want at least 25% of those books to be non-fiction. I love learning new things, and this is an easy way to accomplish that.
  3. Complete the 2018 AtoZ Reading Challenge. The goal of this challenge is to read one book from every letter of the alphabet. I’m looking forward to it!
