I was tagged by happywhenimreading to do this fun fall book tag. Thanks for the tag! I adore fall–the colorful trees, the cozy sweaters, and the delicious comfort foods.
•Crunching Leaves-the world is full of color
Pick a book that has reds oranges and yellows on it.
I pick Secondborn by Amy A. Bartol. This cover has rich reds, oranges, and yellows on it. It definitely screams “fall” to me!
•Cozy Sweater- It’s finally cold enough for you to pull out your warm clothing!
What book gives you the warm fuzzies?
I don’t read a ton of romance novels, but most of them give me the warm fuzzies. The Lucky One by Nicholas Sparks definitely left me feeling warm and fuzzy.
•Fall Storm- the wind is howling the rain is pounding
Choose your favorite book or genre that you love to read on a rainy day.
Any book by Sarah J. Maas makes for a great rainy day read, in my opinion!
•Cool Crisp Air
What is one cool character that you would love to trade places with?
I would love to trade places with Hermione Granger. I know she goes through some pretty rough stuff in the Harry Potter books, but she’s one of my favorite characters of all time.
•Hot Apple Cider
What is one under hyped book that you want to become the next big thing?
I read Heather Gudenkauf’s Not a Sound simply by chance–I stumbled across it. I think she’s an under-appreciated author.
•Coats, Scarves, and Mittens- When the weather has turned cold and it’s time to cover up
What is one embarrassing book cover you own and like to keep covered up?
[Insert every cheesy romance novel cover here!]
What are your fall time comfort foods?
Green bean casserole is one of my favorite foods. It’s so simple to make, so I’m not sure why I don’t eat it more often, but it’s a holiday favorite of mine.
•Warm Cozy Bonfires
Who do you tag?
Whoever reads this and wants to join in on the fun!
